If you think Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 will be over after completing the campaign and playing a few co-op games, then you might be seriously mistaken. Focus Entertainment has shared all the content coming in 2024 and part of 2025… and you better have your sword sharp because we’re not going to have time to breathe.
The base game will launch with three modes: campaign, co-op and PVP, the latter two of which will feature a class system and weapon upgrades through levels. There is enough content to give our souls to the Empire during the first few months. And what happens from then on?
The roadmap of Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 It’s split into two tiers: free and paid, but don’t worry, the really important stuff will be free for all players. In 2024, we’ll see Season 1 (September) and Season 2, which will include for free: private lobbies for PVE, Ultrawide support, a new co-op mission, a new difficulty, a new enemy, and a new weapon. In addition, the premium version will include new cosmetics.
In 2025, the real deal comes. Seasons 3 and 4 will add new co-op missions, enemies and weapons, prestige ranks, new arenas and maps for PVP, a horde mode for the free portion, and a ton of cosmetic content for Premium Pass owners. An “Incoming transmission” message in the latter hints at more to come. In short, a lot of free content for all players.
