HBO has quietly updated its website and announced the air date of The Last of Us series. Good news, it will be available sooner than you think.

Small screen adaptations of video games are on the rise. Every major streaming player wants to ride the wave and snap up the most popular licenses. For its part, HBO got its hands on The Last of Us series, which caused a sensation with its first trailer. We now know when it will air.

The Last of Us series available from January 2023

The fan-awaited series The Last of Us finally finds a release date. The date is therefore set for January 15, 2023 if we are to believe the official page of the adaptation, which has been discreetly updated on the HBO website. We will of course wait for confirmation from the American company in case it is an internal error.

The question of where the series The Last of Us will be broadcast in France remains open. In fact, Amazon Prime France has signed a new transmission agreement with HBO before putting the publisher’s popular series and films on its streaming platform while awaiting the launch of its own platform in our countries. If that deal takes effect early next year, we don’t know what the situation will be for the adaptation of Naughty Dog’s flagship game.
