Whether it’s the annoying bullet-sponge guy in Alpha Protocol, General Raam at the end of Gears of War, or any brutal boss fight in Deus Ex: Human Revolution, a powerful boss is usually the reason for the difficulty spike. But it doesn’t have to be about combat: Sometimes a particularly tricky platforming section or QTE can get you to the point where you exit in rage. But which games stumped our panelists?
