Cheers, wizard fans! The next game in the series has just been announced. The official wizarding Twitter account posted a brand new image yesterday of a wizarding school mask covered in snow. This was accompanied by the words “A New Legend Begins”, leaving fans to speculate on what might be coming.
Tweets also link to blog posts, albeit in a way that doesn’t have much additional information. Even though there aren’t many details about the new game right now, it hasn’t stopped the frenzy on the internet, with fans tearing apart the teaser images hoping to uncover its secrets. With that in mind, we wanted to know what you’d like to see from the next Witcher game. We’ve listed some options below, from updated combat to new protagonists. What would you most like to see from the next Witcher game?
- A new protagonist – are you fed up with Geralt? Maybe a new character should reign supreme.
- Improved Combat – One of the main sticking points of our Witcher 3 is combat. Can we do an overhaul?
- New environment – A new legend could mean a whole new environment.
- Multiplayer – Do you want multiplayer co-op or PvP?
- More Gwent – Honestly, we all want more Gwent.
