According to Riot Games, Valorant's beta can reach "close to the release" in summer 2020. Of course, players unlock a lot, i.e. agents and goodies such as profile banners and weapon skins.
But what actually happens with the game progresswhen the full release of Valorant takes place? Is there a wipe or can you take over your personal progress? And what about skins bought through microtransactions? We provide you with the answers.
Is there a wipe?
Bad news for grumpy Valorant players: Riot Games performs a complete progression wipe for the full release. Everything you earned during the beta will be deleted and reset. This affects all agents in Valorant and all other activations.
Good news for fairness: The measure should ensure that all players start with the same conditions. So if you weren't lucky enough to get a valorant key via twitch drop, you should at least start with all other players at eye level.
Nobody can take your skill: This means that the beta players will at least retain the exercise they have won in Valorant. After all, it is an advantage to be able to train for weeks before the game is even released to the masses.

What about the microtransactions?
Some players have already bought weapon skins in Valorant's in-game shop launched for beta. And the purchased items are also with the large release wipe completely reset. But don't worry: your Valorant Points will not disappear.
As soon as the beta ends, you will no longer have access to it. With the full release you will receive the purchased valorant points paid back to your gaming account. So you can buy your favorite cosmetics again. To show itself to early supporters, Riot Games also adds a 20 percent bonus.
