Messenger WhatsApp is no longer just a chat app. The program has been supporting video calls for a long time and has further expanded this function in recent months. Instead of just 8 contacts, up to 32 people can now take part in a video conference. The invitation process is also much easier thanks to the new call links function.
But there are still limitations compared to tools like Google Meet or Skype. For example, there is no native way to share your screen. Until September 2021, this was possible via a detour. But WhatsApp has deleted the connection to Facebook Messenger’s Rooms function.

So you currently have no other option than to switch to a WhatsApp alternative. For example, Telegram offers you the possibility to share your screen in a video call. Whether WhatsApp will add the feature at some point remains to be seen. So far there are no corresponding rumors.
