Plus, there’s another clue that The Last of Us’ potential release wasn’t just a placeholder: UK has aloud IGN the streaming service Sky has already sent out new promotional material, in the course of which January 16, 2023 is listed as the start date. And that always works with the different time zones in which the USA and England are located.
So fans probably won’t have to wait too long until The Last of Us on January 15 or 16, 2022 starts. In Europey, the series adaptation of the game by Naughty Dog and Sony will be broadcast exclusively via Sky.

The series stars two Game of Thrones veterans Peter Pascal (The Mandalorian, Wonder Woman 1984) und Bella Ramsey (His Dark Materials) as Joel and Ellie. Craig Mazin (Chernobyl) and Neil Druckman (games creative director) are showrunners on HBO’s The Last of Us.
Other roles in the series adaptation include Gabriel Luna as Tommy, Nick Offerman as Bill, Anna Torv as Tess and Merle Dandridge as Marlene. The actors who played Joel and Ellie from the video games Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson are also said to have a role.
