We’ve already tested the Geforce RTX 4090, but that was just the beginning. Nvidia is already working on other models, and AMD will soon be unveiling its Radeon RX 7000 series – it’s high time to take a look at what we can expect from this new generation of graphics cards.

At FYNG Tech, moderator Jakob talked about it with our graphics card nerds and tech editors Nils Raettig and Alexander Köpf – this is the podcast version of their talk.

In addition to the performance and power consumption of the Geforce RTX 4090, we are also talking about DLSS 3, which works very well in some cases, but also produces unsatisfactory results in games like A Plague Tale: Requiem.

We also look over to AMD and venture a glimpse of how the performance duel with Nvidia could end this time. And we look at Intel, whose Arc Alchemist graphics cards are now also available for desktop PCs. Do the A750 and A770 represent serious competition for Nvidia and AMD, or does Intel need to improve?

And of course we discuss the most tiresome graphics card topic ever: the prices. How will the shortage of material, the world crisis, scalpers and cryptomining affect this time?
