With World of Warcraft Dragonflight, the ninth expansion of the MMO is now in the starting blocks. From November 29, exactly at midnight Europe time the dragon islands open their gates and let us explore many new areas, dungeons, raids and much more.
But with which character will you start the dragon adventure? After all, the selection of possible races and classes is now more than rich. Dragonflight also brings a new race/class combo into the mix.
Similar to the werewolves, the dracthry have a humanoid and a dragon form into which they can transform accordingly. Unlike the worgen, the dracthyr (and only they) can play the new class of summoners.

But just because a new race/class combination enters the field doesn’t mean we’ll be playing it early in the expansion. Even if there are currently many Dracthyr in WoW.
Which class and which race do you want to play first, we want to find out with two surveys. First we want to know which race your character belongs to, with which you will enter the Dragon Islands:
By the way: Some of the races listed are so-called Allied Races
, which have been in the game since WoW Legion and have been expanded in Battle for Azeroth. You have to unlock these races before you can select them. We have summarized how you unlock the allied peoples in a separate guide.
Now we don’t just want to know which race you play, but also which class. In the MMO, of course, this decides much more about your playstyle and your role in dungeons, raids and in PvP.
