The rumor mill is currently brewing around Cities: Skylines. A successor has not yet been officially confirmed. The studio behind the construction hit wants to be on the Paradox Anniuncement Show
For this reason, we want to feel out a little and ask you what features the successor should have in its luggage. For this we have put together a small survey above with initial suggestions.
You can choose three of these suggestions. Should you choose the option something else
select, we look forward to a detailed explanation of your desired feature in the comments. Of course, as usual, you are welcome to write down any further feedback there.
What does that mean for the predecessor?
Regardless of whether the sequel is announced or not, Cities: Skylines is far from standing still. A console update was recently released, making the remastered version of the game socially acceptable for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. You can see what it looks like here:

Cities Skylines Remastered: The city building simulation comes to the PS5 and Series X
PC gamers don’t have to worry, however, because the console features have long been available in the PC version. So it is a submission.
In the podcast, colleague Micha explains why the construction tip captivates so many people. Cities: Skylines is one of his top 25 best games of all time. Internally, he is considered the Cities genius in the editorial team and has very likely already planned the next podcast on the subject, should a successor really be announced.
We’ll find out whether the new game from the Cities makers is really a successor or goes in a completely different direction on March 6 at 6 p.m. Europe time. Then the Paradox live stream starts and wants to show us three new games, four expansions and lots of gameplay and updates.
If you miss the live stream, you will find all important announcements on GameStar.de afterwards.
