Most of you will probably rely on one of the dedicated GPUs that we list in the extensive selection. In principle, however, it is also possible to play with graphics units that are integrated in processors such as the UHD graphics models from Intel.
This is more suitable for occasional gaming and in many cases requires compromises in terms of resolution and level of detail in order to achieve smooth frame rates. In times of extreme prices, however, it could become a real alternative for more and more people. Which graphics card would you like?
It’s one thing which graphics card you currently have and something completely different that you would like to have. Let us know in the comments which model you have in mind for a purchase with a view to your requirements and the RRPs actually envisaged by the manufacturers, until the poor availability and the extreme costs get in the way.
Finally, as the author of this article, I am setting a good example: I currently have a Geforce GTX 1080 Ti and could have been weak with an RTX 3080 or an RX 6800 XT for around 700 dollars (RTX 3080 Ti, RTX 3090 and RX 6900 XT become too unreasonable for me regardless of the price crisis).
However, since I now mainly play privately with my twin daughters in co-op mode (or depending on the mood in PvP) with building blocks and the like and only occasionally find time for a game of League of Legends, the current situation fortunately hardly affects me personally . But I sympathize with everyone who looks different.
