After two weeks, the New World Beta ended on August 3, 2021. Even if the release was postponed by a month shortly after the end of the beta and opinions on the MMO from Amazon are quite mixed, we would like to clarify at least one topic: Which weapons are your favorites?
You can choose from eleven different playable weapons from the beta: all categories are represented, from the ax to the mighty fire staff. Since you are not tied to classes in the MMO and can carry two weapons at the same time, you are also allowed to take part in our survey two crosses
How good are the combat system and weapons?
The combat system in New World is not reminiscent of a classic MMO, but requires timing and practice: enemy attacks can be parried and you can defeat opponents yourself with light or heavy attacks.
