Naughty Dog announced an upcoming patch over the weekend that should fix issues with The last of us part 1 computer port. That being said, Steam Deck users will have to wait a little longer for a version of the game that will run well on their hardware.
here comes the message A post from Naughty Dog’s official Twitter accountstating: “As a reminder, we’ll be releasing a new hotfix for The Last of Us Part 1 on PC tomorrow, with a patch on Friday. We’ll share the patch notes when the hotfix goes live, and let you know Knowing some of what to expect ahead of Friday’s patch.”
It went on to address the Steam Deck issue: “While we know many of you would like to play The Last of Us Part 1 on Steam Deck, we will prioritize fixes and patches before submitting them for verification. You update its Steam deck status as we continue to improve the PC version.”
That’s obviously bad, especially when you consider the stellar performance of other big-budget PlayStation titles on the platform. For PC paying users, the fix seems to be coming soon, which is great, but those who use the Steam Deck have to sit on their hands instead of using them to tap the clicker on the head, which doesn’t help. Not what anyone wants. Especially Neil Druckmann, Who promises fans games that “grace the Steam Deck”
