Rebel Wolves isn't quite ready to show you what it's working on just yet, but a small trailer has revealed the name of its first game.
It's been a few years since Rebel Wolves, a team made up of former The Witcher and Cyberpunk developers, debuted, but it sounds like the new team is finally ready to show off what they're working on next month. Following the announcement in October that Bandai Namco would be publishing the first game of Rebel Wolf, the Elden Ring publisher today shared a gameplay trailer announcing that the game will be called Blood of the Dawn Treader 》. A nice logo was also revealed, although I'm not quite convinced by the title yet – it sounds a bit generic, to be honest, but the trailer at least has more to say.

“Join us under a full wolf moon for the game reveal event,” the trailer shares. “The world needs what it fears.” I don't know what that last line means, but I can explain what a full wolf moon means. The game will be officially revealed on January 13th, almost exactly one month later, and on the next scheduled full moon day (it's also a full moon today, so this announcement is clearly timed on purpose here). Times are set for 1pm PST / 4pm EST / 10pm CET, though the trailer doesn't explain whether it will show off any gameplay or if it's just a cinematic trailer.

The description of the YouTube video explains that “Blood of the Dawnwalker is the first chapter in the new role-playing saga of Rebel Wolves – a single-player open-world dark fantasy action RPG with a heavy focus on story and narrative,” which could be That could easily be how you describe The Witcher, so the developers are clearly sticking to what they know. Okay, the title might be a little cheesy, but maybe a strong trailer is the hook it needs! I'll find it in a month and let's see if it can tide fans over until The Witcher 4 comes out.
