Good planning news White or neon colored OLED switch, what’s the best selling color?
The brand new Nintendo Switch OLED has just been announced and pre-orders are in full swing! And on our side, we’ve found that you prefer one color more than another.
OLED switches: the fans’ favorite color?
The Nintendo Switch OLED is the new version of Nintendo’s latest console, the Switch. After a version released in 2017 that inherited the name “classic”, a first, more nomadic alternative, the Nintendo Switch Lite, appeared.
And inevitably, rumors, leaks and indiscretions have raised the idea of a Nintendo Switch PRO. A real powerhouse that can handle 4K, ray tracing, DLSS and run AAAs at 4K 120 fps.
The veil of mystery and fascination disappeared a few days ago when Nintendo finally unveiled this new version. It will be a switch with an OLED screen and small improvements that make the gaming experience even more intense.
This new version is planned for October 8, 2021 and the colors offered are the blue and red “neon” combination, as well as white.
And at JV, we’ve seen that you particularly prefer the white version. In fact, it makes up almost 70% of the revenue from the people who have visited our links. We can say that this new color is particularly appreciated.
And we also notice it in online shops where the white OLED switch at FNAC is regularly sold out. This is not surprising, however, as this white color is different from the traditional red / blue we’ve known since the very first version of Switch was released in 2017.
Nintendo hopes to breathe new life into its hybrid console with this new OLED version and the few new features such as the larger and better screen and twice the memory.

The properties of the OLED switch
The Nintendo Switch OLED is similar to the classic version in many ways. However, it is a bit larger with a 7-inch screen diagonal (compared to 6.2 for the classic version). In addition, this screen is OLED quality. This makes it possible to achieve contrasts and richer colors.
We can also rely on the speakers, which have grown in popularity, to provide a much more immersive experience. This adds new support. Not only does it take up the entire width of the console, it is also adjustable. You can enjoy your console in all circumstances. We can count on an RJ45 socket in the docking station to improve connectivity. And from a storage point of view, the console with 64 GB of storage space shows twice as much as its classic counterpart.
