The Polish economy is idle due to the corona crisis. Numerous companies have to put up with billions of dollars in losses, but one company does not seem to be affected: CD Projekt, responsible for The Witcher games and Cyberpunk 2077, also have to make losses, but due to the significantly larger losses of other companies, the publishers suddenly became number 1 on the Polish stock exchange
The studio currently leads the stock exchange with a market capital of 26.9 billion Polish zlotys (about 6 billion euros). But that anyway not a good sign for the Polish economy should be clear to everyone.
Hard blow to the economy
The example behind this comparison shows the problem behind it: The orange graph stands for the previous leader of the stock exchange, PKO Bank Polski. The blue one shows the location of CD Projekt. CD project is therefore still a long time not the most successful publisher in Europe
Still awaits us in September with Cyberpunk 2077 one of the highlights of the yearthat the situation could shift a bit.
