wild heart‘ The first update for Lethal Blossoms is coming to the game next week, adding a sakura-themed Kemono species.
omega power A few updates are planned for April, and it was recently shown off that the first of two updates arriving on April 6th, is just a few days away. Spring is here, which means the cherry blossoms are in bloom and so is the brand new Kemono – Murakumo. “This Kemono’s plethora of petal-manipulating attacks is a real menace. It cuts through the air on platforms made of cherry blossoms,” reads the beast’s description on the game’s website. “This in turn makes it tricky to fight back. When provoked, the vixen unleashes a thunderous tornado that can easily knock you unconscious.”
Murakumo is a fox-like kemono that seems to control the wind and is really pretty, though of course you have to fight it. What better weapon than the new spinning top Karakuri. Yes, it’s actually a giant gyroscope, and yes, it does rip (no, I don’t apologize for the pun). “Once released, the top will get close to the prey and launch a tenacious attack. Every time it hits a Kemono or other obstacle, it will gain speed and power. The top can stagger the Kemono because it has enough speed and power when it connects .”
Beyond that, you can further enhance your weapons and armor with Core Orbs, which you can earn by successfully taking down Volatile Kemono. There are other fixes and improvements coming, a full list will be available once the update stops.
The trailer for this update also previews the second update, arriving on April 20, with another deep-unstable beast, the Deathhaze Gloombeak, a giant, angry-looking raven creature. The update will also offer a new quest type called the Streak Hunt, which basically sounds like a Boss rushing a Kemono in a row until you’re exhausted.
