Tom Henderson (via TryHardGuides) struck again. L’insider knowledgeable claims that Sony is preparing new PS5 Pro controllers. In response to the cute “Hunt” codename, they would embed new features in addition to the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers of the classic DualSense. We’re talking detachable rear paddles like you’ll find in Scuf and Burn, a superior grip, interchangeable joysticks and quick-adjust trigger locks that allow for more control and, for example, ensure that the action of shooting is shorter.
Sony would clearly be eyeing the site pads Premium while keeping the classic DualSense design. However, Henderson explains that the biggest change to the PS5 Pro controller would be at the level of the buttons below the analog sticks, which would allow the joysticks to be removed entirely if the player so desires.
