Next-Gen PlayStation status quo It’s coming soon. Sony has officially confirmed the date and time of its next showcase. We’ve been looking forward to the September event for a while now. You can watch it here.
This will be the first State of Play following the recent announcement of the PlayStation 5 Pro, whose $700 price tag and lack of major upcoming releases to take advantage of its upgraded hardware has left most people scratching their heads (but some will buy one anyway).

Sony has confirmed in a blog post that this September’s State of Play event will be Start time is September 24th at 11pm BST, which is 3pm PT, 6pm ET and 12am CEST
Sony said the livestream will last more than 30 minutes and include “news and updates on over 20 upcoming PS5 and PS VR2 games from studios around the world.”
Thanks to recent leaks, we do know a few announcements we can expect at this month’s State of Play. First up, the Horizon Zero Dawn remake recently received an ESRB rating, which means it will almost certainly be one of the titles to be shown at the show. A remake of another PS4 game will also reportedly be in the lineup.

According to some reports (and hints on social media), Sony is preparing to announce a remastered version of Days Gone for the PS5. We know nothing about either game other than their existence, but it’s a safe bet that PlayStation’s array of accessibility options will be coming to both titles, not to mention a number of other graphical and performance enhancements.
