Against all expectations, Dragon Ball Sparking Zero may make some fans’ dreams come true after disappointing them. But be careful, you must not move forward too quickly.
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is already shaping up to be THE sequel to Budokai Tenkaichi 3 that we’ve all been waiting for. The return of the franchise promises to be a memorable one, with a roster that currently stands at 164 fighters. It’s just crazy, and that includes, but is not limited to, Super Saiyan transformations. However, important characters will probably be missing, which is not to everyone’s taste. However, an important clue has just been discovered that gives the community hope.
The characters from the films in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero?
The question that has often been asked is whether Sparking Zero will include, among other things, the protagonists of Dragon Ball GT. In fact, we would like to know if the cast of the licensed films will be included in the roster. Furutani and Ryo Mito, both producers of the game, had already given their first answers a month ago. The studio plans to add them, but perhaps as DLC. Obviously this isn’t set in stone and so we had to take this with a grain of salt. However, we now have information that normally leaves no room for doubt.
In fact, user DbsHype made an interesting find. Saikyo Jump magazine recently did a collaboration of sorts with the new issue. We get to see never-before-seen images of Goku and Vegeta’s movements. One thing is clear: it’s mouth-watering, but we’re not here to talk about it. If you look closely, you can see the use of new techniques that were not shown in the various trailers. For example, Goku in his Super Saiyan 3 form appears to have mastered the Super Dragon Twin Fists technique, according to a certain ZiedTa.
The fans were challenged here. This ability comes straight from the feature film Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn. Does this confirm that there will be content from the films (non-canon in this case) in Sparking Zero? It is possible. We’ll still avoid taking this literally, but it shows that all is not lost for GT’s characters. After that, we’re not sure they’ll be blocked behind a paid extension. If this is the case, players’ anger will certainly be heard. Be continued.
