As we reported in January, there is growing evidence that the next Assassin's Creed should play in the setting of the Vikings and Norse mythology. Until an official announcement, this is only speculation – but according to allegedly leaked information, this could soon follow.
We have compiled all current leaks for the next Assassin's Creed as follows:
1. Official announcement soon
According to the well-known insider Shinobi602 an official announcement soon of the next serial branch. When asked by a Twitter user when there would be news about new Assassins Creed games, the answer was "Almost there".

If his information is correct, you can assume that the game would probably have been announced at the canceled E3 2020. Ubisoft will likely now unveil the title in a digital event.
2. Assassin's Creed 2020 should be called Valhalla
Contrary to the first leaks from January, the Viking Assassins Creed should not be called "Ragnarok". A list of the game's achievements released on Reddit a few weeks ago shows that the game's epithet Valhalla could wear.
According to this list you should also be able to do the following things in the upcoming AC. Be warned of potential spoilers!

3. That should be in there
Another leak by the French YouTuber j0nathan reveals further details of what the next part of the series could be about:
- Vikings are said to be at the center of the action.
- The name is neither Kingdom nor Ragnarok.
- The hidden blade and shield return.
- The main character is female, but you can change the gender as in the predecessor.
- The main character is not called Jora.
- The game is not only supposed to play in Scandinavia.
- Even more RPG elements than in AC: Odyssey.
- Lots of supernatural content.
- No co-op mode.
- The game is expected to be released by the end of the year.
- Announcement in late April or early May.

Viking Assassin's Creed has not yet been officially announced
Many of the statements of the Youtuber correspond with what has already become known through the two previous leaks. However, such potential information is as always enjoy with caution, since this is not an official publisher’s information.
There have been leaks to the Assassins Creed series in the past and still: In 2018, for example, the setting and first gameplay details for Assassin's Creed: Odyssey were made public before the official announcement by insiders. These leaks turned out to be true.
We will only know if the next Assassin's Creed will really be playing with the Vikings and instead of Ragnarok will be called Valhalla as soon as it is announced – maybe quite soon.
