With Uber Eats you can conveniently order food from the restaurant to your home. But is that also possible at Christmas and New Year's Eve? We did some research for you.

Luckily, there are delivery services like Uber Eats that deliver ready-made meals from restaurants straight to your home. But does it also work reliably on Christmas and New Year's Eve? We asked for you.

Does Uber Eats deliver on holidays?

Delivery services that bring groceries or drugstore goods must adhere to legal opening times and close on public holidays. Restaurants, however, are allowed to remain open on these days. This is why Uber Eats can offer its service all year round – in large cities like Hamburg and Berlin even around the clock. Please note, however, that the opening times of partner restaurants may vary on public holidays.

By when do I have to order?

Uber Eats does not expect an increase in order volumes during the holiday season. January 1st, however, is a popular day for many to order food. It's worth placing a pre-order here. This works 5 days in advance.

Are there fees for public holidays?

In principle, a delivery from Uber Eats can incur fees of between 1.79 dollars and 3.99 dollars. You don't have to expect any additional costs on the holidays.
