Windjammers 2-the long-awaited follow-up to the arcade classic-has finally become a reality. After years of delay, this game is finally realized in the hands of players who have been eager to follow up since playing the original way in 1994.
The public beta (including the playable characters Steve Miller, Biaggi, Sophie de Lys and Gary Scott) will be available on Steam, PS4 and PS5 tomorrow, and will last until August 22, giving you plenty of time to try the game yourself.

“Athletes can compete in online rankings across the beach, roaring stadiums, noisy fields, or high-roofed courts equipped with crash-proof bumpers,” reads an introduction. “Through unpredictable matches to score goals, release special moves to gain the upper hand, and climb to the undisputed champion on the public beta rankings.”
The public beta allows PS5 and PS4 users to face each other head-on, while Steam users can conquer their alliance through battle. The game will also be launched on Stadia and Nintendo Switch, but they did not get a beta version. No exact release date has been announced.
