My God, Wolfeye Studios is really keeping us on tenterhooks. The Weird West developers have already dropped the first hints of a new game and now also some pictures.
What Wolfeye Studios is doing right now is almost like pouring beer with a pipette. A little teaser every day, but still little tangible. But now, with Raphael Colantonio, one of the former heads of Arkane Studios around Dishonored and Prey, hardly anything else can be expected.
The studio has been dropping little hints about the latest project after Weird West for days. What we know so far is that it will be an action role-playing game in the style of an immersive sim and Colantonio has already claimed that fans of Prey or Dishonored will enjoy it.
In a new interview with Eurogamer There are further small hints. Creative Director Colantonio and Executive Producer Julien Roby (also a former Arkane and Dishonored developer) reveal that it is supposed to be “a mix of Fallout and Dishonored”. Colantonio says: “If there is such a thing as a continuum between Fallout and Dishonored, I would say that Prey is somewhere in the middle, because it is already more of an RPG than Dishonored, and this new game is closer to Fallout in terms of its RPG character.” In this context, Colantonio also praises the qualities of the RPGs from Obsidian Entertainment (Fallout: New Vegas, The Outer Worlds).
A touch of Fallout and retro sci-fi surrounds the first three images that the studio has now released for the as yet unnamed game:
The studio continues to reveal more information about the game soon and it is not difficult to guess that the upcoming Gamescom will play a role. official website There is already an opportunity to register for an alpha of the game, but this will probably not take place until next year at the earliest.
