Only published on February 24, 2021, hit the premiere edition of “Ginny & Georgia“for viewers of the streaming service Netflix one like a bomb: An incredible 52 million Netflix subscribers watched season 1 of the young adult mother and daughter story. So it is not surprising that the Californian streaming giant announced the extension of its hit show today.

A start date for season 2 is currently also unknown as news about new actors. Presumably, Season 2 will appear on Netflix in the first half of 2022.
From the finale of season 1 there are also some cliffhangers to be triggered: Ginny (Antonia Gentry) last buzzed from home, while cafe operator Joe (Raymond Ablack) was about to confess his love to her mother Georgia (Brianne Howey) when he found out about their engagement.
