Wargaming is preparing for the tenth anniversary of World of Tanks with over 160 million players worldwide. From April 22, a variety of challenges, playable flashbacks and exclusive rewards await all World of Tanks players on PC and Mac. These anniversary months are divided into five monthly acts, each of which refers to the milestones of two years in the history of the World of Tanks.
The "General Chat" celebrates its return in the first act and allows players until April 29 to enjoy the chance to exchange views not only with their own team, but also with the opposing team.
In addition, all players in each of the five acts are given the opportunity to master numerous thematic challenges in order to obtain anniversary coins. With this new and time-limited game currency, exclusive cosmetic adjustments and other InGame items can be purchased in World of Tanks.
Since the go-ahead 10 years ago on August 12, 2010, World of Tanks has not only been continuously expanded with new functions, but has also organized hundreds of different events and has grown to an action MMO with over 600 authentically reproduced combat vehicles from 11 nations.
