One event follows the next in World of Tanks. For Christmas 2024, the developers have secured a real film star in Jason Statham, who will act as an ambassador for Holiday Ops 2025 and a stunt double for Santa Claus.
World of Tanks' Holiday Ops 2025 obviously doesn't take itself that seriously. Jason Statham may be a serious action star, but in the cinematic trailer for the event he has to play the stunt double for Santa Claus. However, the production isn't action-packed enough for him, which is why he takes over directing himself.

The humorous trailer has little to do with Holiday Ops 2025, but it certainly creates the right mood. Because at the World of Tanks Christmas event, the actor gives you a few missions, a total of 28 orders are waiting for you.
Of course, there are lots of rewards for completing them. For example, Wargaming mentions new experimental accessories, but the big highlight is of course the tank commander Jason Statham himself, including voice acting. You can further enhance your tanks with 3D upgrade objects. Who hasn't wanted to attach a flamethrower guitar or a concert speaker to their tank?
This year the event will take place in a festive village. Here an icebreaker provides you with resources. You use these to upgrade the village, for example using rock crystal and pure emerald to upgrade decorative areas and increase the festive atmosphere, for which you receive rewards.

World of Tanks Holiday Ops 2025 runs from December 6, 2024 to January 13, 2025.
