World of Tanks has been one of the biggest titles in the free-to-play segment for years. Last but not least, the numerous in-game events and crossovers with other brands probably play a part in this. Now the developers are presenting the next collaboration, with a real blockbuster.
Dune: Part Two will finally start in German cinemas on February 29, 2024. Of course, the advertising drum is already being drummed up and a collaboration with Wargaming is also expected to keep the box office ringing. But the collaboration shouldn’t hurt World of Tanks either.

From February 15th to April 1st, 2024 there will be various in-game bonuses and events with special mechanics. Of course, not only the main game is considered, World of Tanks Blitz and World of Tanks Modern Armor also receive special content related to the film by director Denis Villeneuve.
In World of Tanks, the Battle Pass is called “Dune: Part Two – Destiny Arrives” and runs from February 15th to 25th, 2024. You will be presented with a story in the desert world and of course you will also meet characters like Gurney Halleck , Rabban and Lady Jessica. You recruit various characters from both sides as crew members, and special items include 2D styles, decorations and inscriptions. Of course, a new tank is also present: a Tier VIII Premium Medium Tank, the KPZ.PR.68, painted in a permanent 3D style with special visual effects.
In the mobile part World of Tanks Blitz, however, you can expect a planetary event that runs from February 23rd to March 7th, 2024. Rewards include items such as a Crysknife and Maker Hooks. You get quests from Rabban and the stranger, and the biggest bonus is the ground tank, for which the developers were inspired by the Sardaukar troops. There is also a Harvester skin for the mouse in special bundles.
In World of Tanks Modern Armor there is a community event divided into three phases. Characters from Dune: Part Two await you as a reward, for example you can look forward to Gurney Halleck and Rabban as commanders. The 3D commander Rabban is also available exclusively for console players. The event is scheduled to start here on March 5, 2024.
