The add-on “The Burning Crusade” for World of WarCraft Classic will be available in a few weeks. The comprehensive preparation patch for the classic version of the MMORPG is now available in advance.
Starting June 2nd, the add-on “The Burning Crusade” will also be available in World of WarCraft Classic; You can already prepare accordingly now and download a comprehensive preparation patch from now on.
With the update, Blizzard is preparing for the release and implementing the most important systems. This also includes the possibility of being able to create corresponding characters of the blood elves and draenei. For a limited time, you can also take part in the Battle of the Dark Portal, the pre-release event where Highlord Kruul and his host of demonic invaders invade Azeroth.
According to official information, the update means that the following content and features are now available in WoW Classic:
- Choose an era: Players can choose for each individual character whether they want to advance to Burning Crusade Classic or continue their adventures in the Classic era.
- New playable races: The Blood Elves of Silvermoon and the Draenei of the Exodar are now playable from level 1 in their respective brand new starting areas.
- New job: Jewelery can now be learned and increased to level 300.
- New talent system: Players can discover the changes to their characters’ talent trees and try out new builds and skills.
- Digital packages and optional services: Optional services and extras are now available in the shop to help players embark on their adventures in Outland in style and prepare for the Dark Portal on June 2nd. The following services are available:
- Pass to the Dark Portal: Players can use this pass to upgrade a character of their choice to level 58 (only available once per account; new races cannot be upgraded; only for realms from Burning Crusade Classic). In addition, this character receives appropriate equipment, a mount, consumable items and some gold – everything that is needed for the journey through the Dark Portal upon launch.
- Deluxe Edition: Contains the pass to the Dark Portal as well as 30 days of game time, the reawakened phase hunter as a mount for characters in Burning Crusade Classic, the more detailed Viridian phase hunter as a mount for players of modern WoW, a hearthstone in the style of the Dark Portal and the toy Illidan’s path.
- Characterclone: This optional service allows players to play a copy of an existing WoW Classic character on both a Burning Crusade Classic server and a Classic Era server.
