Long-running favorite World of WarCraft: Dragonflight is entering the next round of content with a new update. We’ll tell you here what’s new in version 10.2.5 called “Seeds of Renewal”.
Blizzard Entertainment continues to provide regular updates for the current add-on World of WarCraft: Dragonflight before the next expansion for the long-standing MMORPG opens. The new version 10.2.5, called “Seeds of Renewal”, is now available.
After saving the new World Tree from Fyrakk’s attack in the Emerald Dream, the dragonflights turn to the future to rebuild their homeland, resolve differences, and renew the bond of mortal races – and this theme brings with it various content improvements.
Dragon riding is now available in all flying zones across Azeroth. All current dragon riding mounts can be used at 80 percent of their maximum speed beyond the Dragon Islands. A dragon rider racing event is also planned later this month.
The history of the Dragon Islands can now be discovered in the “Archives of Azeroth”. It’s a public event where you’ll meet a unique cast of characters, hear ancient tales, and earn rewards along the way – including pets and mounts.
You can also rebuild Bel’ameht, the capital of the night elves, and retake Gilneas. In the latter scenario, you must help King Greymane as he marshals his forces to retake the lands of Gilneas; this is currently occupied by a new but familiar enemy.
Last but not least, there is a new feature with the trailer dungeons. Here, players who want to test a new role or come back after a long break can play one of Dragonflight’s eight dungeons at normal difficulty – alongside NPC companions. The mode is suitable for 1 to 4 players. There are also new campaign quests in general, adjustments for draenei and trolls, additional adjustments for warlock companions and more.
