As is well known, the new add-on World of WarCraft: Dragonflight in the MMORPG is to start on November 29th, but Blizzard Entertainment wants to prepare you properly in advance – with various patch phases.
The first of a total of two pre-expansion patch phases before the start of the new add-on World of WarCraft: Dragonflight will start next week on October 26th. The second such phase will then be heralded on November 16th, before the add-on itself will be available on November 29th.
With each of the two phases there will already be various new features that go live in the MMORPG. Specifically, according to official information, you can expect the following in phase 1:
- Overhaul of the talent system
- Players can discover their classes’ new talent trees and save different talent specializations customized to their preferred playstyle.
- Changes to the Heads-up Display (HUD) user interface
- The first update phase for the HUD overhaul allows players to customize the basic UI. Among other things, they can change the placement and size of action bars, player windows and more.
- Accessibility features
- Players can look forward to a variety of new features, including hold-down spellcasting, interaction buttons, gamepad support, and more.
- Ranked Mixed Singles
- The former Brawl will become permanent as a new Ranked PvP mode, offering another way to earn high-value PvP rewards alongside 2v2, 3v3 and Ranked Battlegrounds.
- New combinations of class and race
- In the future, players can select the classes rogue, priest and magician with all races. More combinations will be available later.
The second phase from November 16th will then have the following innovations ready:
- New combination of class and race: Caller of the Dracthyr
- New zone: The Forbidden Island
- The starting area of WoW’s new hero class, the Caller of the Dracthyr, is from the 16. November available.
- New dungeon: Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr
- events in the game: primordial storms
- Players can repel attacks from the Primalists in new quests and world events that herald the launch of World of Warcraft: Dragonflight.
