World of WarCraft: Dragonflight is currently in rapid succession, because immediately after the start of the trading post aka the Battle Pass system, the next new version is already available for testing.
While most players of the MMORPG World of WarCraft: Dragonflight are more likely to jump on the new trading post and try to exhaust the system comparable to a Battle Pass, other interested parties can already devote themselves to the next new content. Blizzard Entertainment has already made the update to version 10.0.7 available for testing.
If you want to know what’s coming next in Season 1 in the current add-on, you can now head over to the public test realm (PTR), because there you can now try out all the new content. Among other things, you can expect a new quest base as well as a new faction, a new class/race combination and more.
From the official side, the most important innovations of this update are stated as follows:
- New quest base: The Forbidden Island
- Callers return to their starting area to complete new quests, while other adventurers can experience this zone as a quest area for the first time.
- New faction: Winter Fur Furbolgs
- Players can earn the trust of the Winterfur Furbolgs, a new faction from the Azure Mountains.
- New Class/Race Combo: Monk
- Similar to rogues, mages, and priests in the World of Warcaft: Dragonflight pre-patch, which made them available to all core and allied races, the next class, Monk, will be playable for all races except Dracthyr.
- New Heritage Armor & Customization Options: Humans & Orcs
- Players can get a glimpse of the new heritage armor for the two veteran races of World of Warcraft, as well as several new hair colors for these two races that are highly anticipated by the community.
- Class balance changes
- For multiple classes, balance changes will be made to skills and their respective talent trees.
