Blizzard also had news about World of WarCraft: The War Within yesterday in Warcraft Direct: The first major content patch for the current add-on is on the way.
Not only World of WarCraft Classic was discussed last night, but of course also the modern World of WarCraft, which is currently in the add-on The War Within. The first major content update is now scheduled to be released for this current expansion.
Game version 11.1 called “Lorenhalt” was announced, which is scheduled to launch at the beginning of next year 2025; However, there is no specific date yet. What is certain, however, is that you will then be kidnapped to the underground capital of the goblins, Lorenhall. There you go on the hunt for the mysterious Xal’atath and have to thwart their plans.
In terms of content, there is a lot to discover about this story arc. There will be two new depths, with the current depths also being thematically revised. There is also a new dungeon, which will also be included in the rotation of dungeons on Mythic+ in season 2, as well as a new raid with a total of eight bosses. Across Lorenhall you will engage in a bitter battle with Gallywix and his allies.
A new ground mount will also be added to the MMORPG and is specifically designed for quick progress in the goblin city.
We have already reported elsewhere that a housing feature will finally be added to World of WarCraft: Midnight in the future.
