Cloud Imperium Games have released the latest episode of their video format "Inside Star Citizen". In the current episode of the series, in which the developers regularly talk about current and future plans around Star Citizen, the makers present a new system called Actor Status.
Actor status: hunger, thirst & temperature
The actor status system is supposed to be different Survival elements Introduce into Star Citizen. So the players should pay attention to the needs of their character's body.

Even if Star Citizen is not a classic survival game, according to game designer Jonny Jacevicius, the survival elements should not look artificial:
