The new WoW expansion will be released on November 29, 2022 Dragonflight. Even before that, Blizzard positions the game to be prepared for the numerous changes. World of Warcraft will receive two pre-patches that successively integrate new functions and content.

When are the pre-patches coming out?
Phase 1: The first pre-patch will be released on October 26, 2022.
Phase 2: The second pre-patch will follow on November 16, 2022.
What’s in it?
Stage 1 starting October 26th
Blizzard announced the exact contents of the two patches via press release. You can expect the following:
- Overhaul of the talent system
The new class talent trees become available and different
Talent specializations can now be saved. - Changes to the Heads-up Display (HUD) user interface
The HUD overhaul allows players to
Customize basic user interface. Among other things, you can place and
Personalize the size of action bars, player windows and more. - Accessibility features

Hold, interaction buttons and gamepad support - Ranked Mixed Singles
The exFor Raufera
becomes available as a new ranked PvP mode and offers
including 2vs2, 3vs3 and ranked battlegrounds. Here you can

In the future, players can play the classes rogue, priest and mage with all races. More combinations will follow later.

Phase 2 ab 16. November
- New class/race combo: Caller of the Dracthyr
- New Zone: The Forbidden Island
The starting zone for WoW’s new hero class, Caller of the Dracthyr, will be available with Phase 2 of the pre-patch starting November 16th. - New Dungeon: Uldaman – Legacy of Tyr
- In-Game Events: Primal Storms
New quests and world events allow repelling primalist attacks.
