On October 14, 2020 WoW will get thanks to the Pre-Patch 9.0.1 finally new content for Shadowlands. This means that the World of Warcraft servers will be under maintenance and will be temporarily unavailable.

When does Pre-Patch 9.0.1 for WoW appear?
The pre-patch for WoW Shadowlands will be released on Wednesday October 14th 2020 played out.
How long are the WoW servers unavailable?
On the official homepage Blizzard has already announced when it will start maintenance work on the World of Warcraft servers. Blizzard has set a total of eight hours for this:
- Server-Downtime: From 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
But be careful: WoW players should expect the maintenance work to be delayed at short notice and the servers to be unavailable for a little longer. It cannot be ruled out that there will be unexpected problems on Patch Days with extensive changes to the game.
What is the content of Pre-Patch 9.0.1?
This is inside: The pre-patch for Shadowlands is already expanding WoW with many important and exciting features. For example, there is an expanded character editor and with the Island of Exiles there is a new starter area for level 1 characters.
Overall, the maximum level for all characters has been reduced from level 120 to 50 – there is also a »squish« of the item level. Likewise, players with “The Tide of Death” can look forward to a time-limited event that will prepare you for the final Shadowlands addon.

When will WoW Shadowlands be released?
Release in 2020, but when exactly? Originally the addon Shadowlands was supposed to appear at the end of October. But only a few weeks ago, Blizzard postponed the expansion – but there is no new release date. For this, Shadowlands should still appear in 2020.
