After a year hiatus, the main license for WWE 2K announces its return. On this occasion, Visual Concept and 2K presented a first teaser.
WWE 2K22 was “soon” expected and during Wrestlemania 37 it was revealed, highlighting giant wrestling star Rey Mysterio. As a reminder that this is a simulation, the superstar appears both in the game and through real-life images. At this point, the platforms the game will be released on have not yet been announced, but rumors from last year suggest that the title will be developed for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It remains to be seen whether he’s entitled to a next-gen version like NBA 2K21 or whether he’ll have to wait for WWE 2K23.
