After the first rumors and leaks, 2K has finally officially announced the next part of the WWE series and a real wrestling superstar is emblazoned on the cover.
Now it’s finally official. On March 17th, WWE 2K23 will finally be the next part of the well-known wrestling series, for PC via Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Some players can even start a little earlier. The WWE 2K23 Deluxe Edition and Icon Edition are scheduled to release in Early Access worldwide on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, followed by the Standard Edition and Cross-Gen on final release day.
As a cover athlete, Visual Concepts and 2K have picked a real wrestling favorite, namely John Cena, who is now celebrating his 20th anniversary as a wrestler. WWE 2K23 is set to feature various enhancements, including a new twist on the 2K Showcase, the WWE 2K introduction of WarGames, and expansions for several popular game modes. Fans can also look forward to a full roster of WWE Superstars and Legends, including Roman Reigns, “American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes, Ronda Rousey, Brock Lesnar, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and more.
