The WWE now broadcasts numerous programs and events that you can follow via various channels. A Pay TV subscription is not mandatory. You can also watch some of the fights for free. Below we give you an overview of the broadcast dates and reception options.

RAW, SmackDown and NXT on ProSieben Maxx

RAW and Smackdown are WWE’s premier wrestling shows. 31 seasons have been produced since 1993 and there is no end in sight. The shows provide viewers with new fights weekly. But they are not very different from each other. Only the duration of the show varies and the duels are carried out by other athletes. In terms of content, you get the same dose of acrobatic wrestling on both shows. Each episode expands on the story of each season.

In addition to RAW and Smackdown, ProSieben Maxx has also expanded its offering to include NXT. The newcomer shows you just as entertaining fights only with rather unknown faces. ProSieben Maxx shows RAW on Wednesday at 10:05 p.m., Smackdown on Saturday at 10 p.m. and NXT on Thursday at 10 p.m. on free TV. On Joyn, ran.de and the ProSieben Maxx website you can watch the episodes of RAW, NXT and Smackdown as reruns for up to a month after they were broadcast.

DAZN also showed RAW and Smackdown until March 2023, even in the original sound. But now the contract between WWE and the streaming service has apparently expired. With a DAZN subscription you can no longer watch WWE shows.

Wrestlemania and Co. only on the WWE Network

In addition to the weekly shows, there are also big events. These pay-per-view events are streamable only through the WWE Network. The WWE Network offers you all upcoming and previous content, whether it’s episodes from free TV or original and premium content.

The “Big Five” at a glance

These pay-per-view events also include the so-called “Big Five”: Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, Summer Slam, Survivor Series and Money in the bank. While WWE RAW and Smackdown are relatively orderly, the WWE Royal Rumble loses the Overview. Because at this event everyone fights against each other until only one is standing.
