Meta Connect is underway, and during the keynote, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella announced that Xbox Cloud Gaming is coming to the Meta Quest Store.

While no date has been set, Microsoft says it will share more information “as soon as possible.”
In addition to the news, Facebook – er, Meta – announced its new headset, Metatask Pro.
Starting at a whopping $1,499.99, Meta’s Quest Pro VR headset features a streamlined shape and a balanced design that’s more comfortable even when you’re wearing glasses. Compared to the Quest 2, the optical stack is over 40% smaller in size, 75% higher in contrast, and 1.3x larger in color gamut. It also features local dimming and quantum dot technology for increased engagement.
You can use it to open multiple resizable screens, use self-tracking controllers with TruTouch haptic feedback, and enjoy backward compatibility with your favorite apps.
The Meta Quest Pro features a Touch Pro controller, charging dock with fast USB-C power adapter, 10 advanced VR/MR sensors, 256GB of storage, 12GB of RAM, and a Snapdragon XR2+ Qualcomm processor. It ships on October 25th and is available for pre-order now.
It was also announced during Connect that Meta had acquired Camouflaj, Twisted Pixel and Armature Studios. News about what the studio is doing will be shared at a later date.
Finally, the game for the Meta Quest 2 headset was released. Among Us VR, Skydance Interactive’s Behemoth, Iron Man VR, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution will release in December, and Population One will get a sandbox mode that lets you create and share experiences with others.
