You’ve probably seen the news that Xbox Game Pass Core is replacing Xbox Live Gold, and it’s also doing away with Xbox Games with Gold, some of the games that are added to your library for free each month.
However, while we’re no longer offering new games every month, we’ll be getting a curated collection of “more than 25 new games for gamers around the world,” according to Xbox UK.
Admittedly, we won’t be thrilled to see what new games come out through the service each month, but the upside is a small selection of key titles from Microsoft Studios and related other developers aimed at showcasing the best of Xbox One, Xbox Series S /X and PC can give you that.
“With Game Pass Core, players will be able to play a selection of over 25 games on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles for £6.99 per month or £49.99 per year, starting with Gears 5, Blade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Grounded, The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, and more,” said a press release.
So far, all 25 games have not been announced, but we have rounded up all the confirmed games that have been announced.
Here are all the games that will be available when the new Xbox Live Gold alternative launches on September 1.

It’s also worth noting that each Xbox adds new games “2-3 times a year.” It’s unclear if these games will replace games already in the series, or if they’ll add to the existing titles.
