Stop what you’re doing. I know, I say this a lot—and of course, I shouldn’t say it so much to my readers, who could be anywhere in the world, doing anything, and I’ll end up addressing them. But this time, I swear, it’s reasonable.
You see, Xbox has just announced the arrival of the latest batch of Game Pass titles – these are the games that will be coming to the service in September – and they’re pretty much all aimed at bored guys like me, and you probably are too.

At least three of the games on September’s Game Pass roster are aimed at the newbies among us: Star Trucker, Expeditions: Mud Runner, and Train Sim World 5. Can you hear that? That’s the voice of a thousand lads named Keith who can talk for hours about five-speed transmissions and who get a kick out of every train ride they cum. Now, cover your ears and give them some privacy.
We already know about the interesting space transport simulation game Star Truck Driver The game is coming to the cloud, console, and PC Game Pass when it launches on September 3 (today), but you should still be excited, thanks to the list of new additions to Game Pass last month. I enjoyed the Steam demo earlier this year when I wasn’t accidentally crashing a truck/spaceship into a space station.
Expeditions: Mud Runner is a game I reviewed when it came out in February, which feels like nine million years ago. I think that was a pretty good era, and you can tell because I spent so much of my review talking about how long I spent trying to tow a big Russian truck back to my camp that it kept falling off a cliff into a river. It’s coming to the cloud, consoles, and PC on September 5.
Train Sim World 5is the final member of the trio, and I’ve tried its predecessor for about an hour, and can confirm that these games are about driving a train, stopping at stations by pressing all the right knobs and switches, and not crashing it in a way that might kill various commuters and day-trippers who may have paid too much for their tickets. It’s coming to the cloud, consoles, and PC on September 17, when it’s released.
Strategy game Age of Mythology: Retelling (coming September 4 to cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X/S) and multiplayer extreme sports game Knights Republic (coming September 11 to cloud, console, and PC). Oh, and here’s the list of games leaving the service on September 15: Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation (PC), FIFA 23 (cloud, console, and PC), Payday 3 (cloud, console, and PC), Slime Rancher 2 (cloud, console, and PC), SpiderHeck (cloud, console, and PC), You Suck At Parking (cloud, console, and PC).
That’s it. Have a great trip, you bored fellows with Game Pass.
