The Xbox Game Pass will receive two prominent new additions this year, including a popular Soulslike from 2023.
Microsoft has a lot to offer with its Xbox Game Pass game subscription and two more well-known third-party games are expected to be added th is year. Both shooter fans and fans of Soulslikes will get their money’s worth!
This is what you can do over the course of the year Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 as well as the new edition Lords of the Fallen from CI Games. This has now been revealed via a Polish report Bankier.pl confirmed by the studio after corresponding rumors had previously emerged online. Although both titles are scheduled to hit Game Pass in 2024, there are no specific dates for this yet. This is probably also because the ink has only just dried on the relevant agreements with Microsoft, as they were signed on May 3rd.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is not necessarily one of the most commercially successful shooters, but it was praised by fans and buyers for its gameplay when it came onto the market in summer 2021. It is the successor to Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts, originally released in 2019, which also saw a transition away from open-world design towards a mission-based structure with open endings – similar to what you know from the Hitman series.
Only last fall, however, was Lords of the Fallen released – a Soulslike remake of the original game of the same name, which definitely has its fans. The start was still somewhat plagued by bugs, but in the meantime the developers have made various updates and recently delivered a final content update with “Master of Fate”.
