It was considered safe anyway, now it’s official: The big Xbox Games Showcase has a specific date in June – and then there will also be a secret direct conference afterwards.
It has already been confirmed that there will be a big showcase around the Xbox again this summer, at which new products for the Microsoft console will be announced. Today Microsoft got down to business and officially announced the Xbox Games Showcase.
It is now clear that the big broadcast will take place on June 9, 2024. If you want to be there live, you can tune in from 7:00 p.m. German time to follow the live broadcast. Corresponding streams are available via the official Xbox channels on YouTube, Twitch and Facebook.
Better yet: It’s not just the Xbox Games Showcase, because like last year, Microsoft even announced a double feature. At that time, the general showcase was followed by a Starfield Direct, which focused entirely on Bethesda’s sci-fi epic. This time too there will be a direct edition afterwards, but the company initially left that open. The only note: The focus will be on “the next part of a popular franchise”, of which “exclusive insights” will then be shown. In insider circles it is assumed that the specially presented game is then Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War will act.
The main showcase beforehand will be the first of its kind, in which games from Activision and Blizzard will be presented alongside those from Bethesda and Xbox Game Studios. In addition, third-party partners should also make appearances.
Might there even be a hardware announcement at the end of the show? In the past, a purely digital revision of the Xbox Series The June showcase would certainly be the appropriate stage to perhaps present this hardware. We will keep you up to date!
