Microsoft has announced the free Games with Gold in the new month of July. Here we tell you which full versions you can look forward to as an Xbox Live subscriber.
As usual, Microsoft is also putting together a four-pack at Xbox Games with Gold in July. Two titles are specially designed for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, two more also run on the older Xbox 360 – so far everything is the same.
Kicking things off is Beasts of Maravilla Island, available July 1st through July 31st on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. This is a 3D adventure in which you slip into the role of a young wildlife photographer. From now on you explore magical ecosystems of the island of Maravilla to discover extraordinary creatures and study their behavior. You can then take magnificent photos of it.
From July 16th to August 15th follows the physics-based puzzle game Relicta, which is controlled from the first-person perspective. You must creatively combine magnetism and gravity to uncover the mysteries of a mysterious research base deep within the moon.
In the first half of the month until July 15th there will also be Thrillville: Off the Rails – also for the Xbox 360. Here you can set up your own amusement park and plan roller coasters for your visitors. From July 16th to July 31st, the classic action RPG Torchlight will be available on all three Xbox consoles. The Diablo competitor is now eleven years old and is not entirely new for Xbox Live Gold members: the title was already available as part of the subscription in August 2019. Long-standing members may already own the dungeon crawler and will only receive three titles, so to speak.
