Average playtime aggregator HowLongToBeat has been added to Xbox application on the PC.
According to Eurogamer, if you log into the Xbox app on PC, you will notice that there is now a section titled HowLongToBeat, which shows the main story length, main story and additional content, fully finished game, and all play styles The average is. The main purpose of HowLongToBeat is actually to tell you how long it takes to beat the game, which can be useful if you’re very picky about how you plan your time.
Of course, the games listed above are not guaranteed for the length of time listed, as it is all based on user data. On the main site, it tells you the average, median, rush, and leisure time for each category, which is often a better indicator of how long it takes you personally to complete the game.
Xbox made the announcement on the Xbox Wire blog, summarizing the September update to the Xbox app on PC. This is the main announcement for the app, although the recent update did make the app launch 15% faster than before, along with some general fixes and fewer game crashes and games that didn’t install properly.
During the Tokyo Game Show, Xbox had a lot of Game Pass announcements to show off, like Ni no Kuni Remake, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Dandanronpo V3, and more. On top of that, Deathloop is officially coming to Xbox next week, on September 20, along with a new update that will add new weapons, crossover PvP, new abilities, new enemy types, and an expanded ending.
The PlayStation-exclusive Death Stranding also recently joined Game Pass for PC, and it’s one of many games where you can now see how long it takes to beat, though given the length of the cutscenes, who knows if it matters.
