Microsoft Next-Gen-Konsolen Xbox Series X and Series S have finally appeared, but the market launch of a new generation of consoles is often accompanied by problems.
Game discs may not be read correctly, the menu is stuck, or there are display errors. If you have difficulties of this kind, then take a look at our following overview of problems and solutions.
Quick resume does not work properly
Quick Resume does not work normally for you.
Some optimized games have problems with quick resume. Microsoft has temporarily disabled the feature for such titles until a solution is found.
The Xbox won’t turn on
You cannot turn on your Xbox.
Unplug the Xbox power cord for ten seconds, then plug it back in and try to turn on the console again. If it still doesn’t work, try another compatible power cord.
TV picture faulty or distorted
You don’t have a picture or it is displayed incorrectly.
On some 4K TVs from Samsung, LG or Vizio with 120 Hertz and VRR, the problem could arise if the Xbox is set to 4K, 120 Hertz and VRR. First tried to update the firmware of the TV. Otherwise, you can still consider setting the console to 4K with 120 Hertz, but without VRR. Alternatively, you take a lower resolution at 120 Hertz and VRR.
Game disc is not recognized
The Xbox Series X does not recognize the game disc.
Did you insert the disc correctly? Take them out and put them back in. Otherwise you try to restart the console. If this does not help either, switch to energy-saving mode in the settings for a test, switch the console off for ten seconds and then on again. Now try to insert the disc.
EA Play app not available
You can’t find the EA Play app.
You don’t need an app to enjoy EA Play’s games. Navigate to the store and search for your desired game. Then you can select “Free Trial with EA Play” on the overview. Via “My Games & Apps”> “Full Library”> “EA Play” you can get to the complete game overview of EA Play.
Game disc cannot be inserted
Some users cannot insert game discs into the Xbox Series X.
Apparently there is still no solution to the problem. Try connecting the pad to the console once using a USB C cable.
Controller does not work
The Xbox Series X controller does not work.
Checks whether there are batteries in the controller. Do you use the official battery pack, then check whether it is charged. Also take a look at our instructions how you connect the Xbox controller
Where do I insert game discs on the Xbox Series S?
You want to put game discs in the Xbox Series S, but you don’t know how it works.
The Xbox Series S is a purely digital console with no Blu-ray drive. You cannot insert game discs into this device.
No picture
The console is on, but no picture appears.
Have you switched on the HDMI channel that the console’s HDMI cable runs to? Checks that all the cabling is correct and that it is flush with the connections.
