Ubisoft’s shooter XDefiant is currently quite popular and last launched in Season 1. Dataminers have now found clues as to what we can expect in Season 2.
What does the immediate future hold for Ubisoft’s currently popular shooter XDefiant? Data miners have found clues in the game files regarding potential content for the upcoming Season 2 and beyond.
MP1ST has published a series of images on social media, according to which the Highwaymen from Far Cry: New Dawn will be introduced as a new faction in the shooter’s second season. They will then be able to use gun turrets as an ability, but further details are still pending.

It is also said that Season 2 will feature three new weapons: the PP19 (SMG), the SPAS (shotgun) and an as yet unnamed LMG. The LVOA-C Assault Rifle, the L115 Sniper and the sawed-off shotgun were recently implemented on this front in Season 1, as was the GSK faction from Rainbow Six: Siege.
Data miners have also found something beyond Season 2. According to them, the third season will bring a new DMR, the M1A and the FAMAS. In addition, Season 3 will focus more on Assassin’s Creed, while Season 4 will focus on another Ubisoft franchise, Ghost Recon. And – as crazy as it may sound – the Rabbids will also play a role in XDefiant, namely in the fifth season.
