Game news Xenoblade Chronicles: soon a third part? Jenna Coleman’s words get attention
Xenoblade Chronicles was updated in a final edition on Switch in May 2020 and meets the expectations of fans who are only waiting for one thing: a third episode. If the future of the license has been discreet since the second part was released nearly four years ago, Jenna Coleman’s words have fascinated more than one lately.
It all starts with a banal interview given last June by actress Jenna Coleman, who is known in the Xenoblade Chronicles license for her dubbing of Melia., a character who appeared in the first episode more than ten years ago.
‘Meanwhile short exchange Din’s Meteorite Channel brought up topics such as the recent remaster of Xenoblade Chronicles and the time he spent dubbing the game at the time.. She entrusted these terms:
My god, when was the first game? Ten years ago? It’s been a long time, I did it before Doctor Who, and when they did the second they asked me to come back. And I think they’ll do another one. ”Coleman paused. Is that obvious? I do not know. Yeah, I think they’ll do another one. I do not know may say it. – Jenna Coleman, voice actress for Melia on Xenoblade Chronicles
Unnoticed at the time of the video’s release, these few sentences have been talked about recently. So much so that our colleagues made out Fanbyte could learn more about this mysterious third part.
According to information from Fanbyte, a new Xenoblade is therefore currently in development, it would even be in the final phase and would follow Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Last element of a trilogy, the latter would take place in the distant future and would mark the return of certain characters. With the greatest luck, the return of Melia? which would reflect what Jenna Coleman said. Especially since the expanded content of Future Connected indicated that the development teams were looking into the future of the saga.
The teams due to be featured earlier this year have changed their minds for several reasons: the difficulties related to the pandemic and optimizing the game on the Switch. Two factors that would have postponed the game’s release date at the same time. At best, however, it could land in the first half of 2022.
All that remains is to know whether the actress’s slip is actually one and to wait for formal confirmation from Monolith Soft.
