Xiaomi is equipping its smartphones with a new control center, but you can still use the old one. We’ll show you how this works in our instructions.
Xiaomi has made an innovation to the control center with the update to MIUI 12. Notifications and quick settings are now displayed separately. If you swipe down from the top edge on the left half of the screen, you open your notifications; a swipe on the right half opens the quick settings.
The Chinese manufacturer is based on Apple here. But if you don’t switch from an iPhone to a Xiaomi cell phone, but from another Android device, you may be confused. We’ll show you how to restore the old Control Center and display both notifications and quick settings with one swipe.
